Would set a bad precedent IMO. While I understand that a head coach cannot sign the trades and draft picks to acquire such, they do have a lot of influence im decisions. Blayock wasn't blamed when Mack and Cooper were trade to Chicago and Dallas, Gruden was. Sean Payton retired leaving New Orleans with cap problems, along with no immediate direction for the team. McVay had plenty of influence on the "win now" approach they took and it worked out. Now without a 1st round draft pick the next 2 years, Donald talking retirement and a plethora of top players that will be coming up on contract talks, he's taking the easy way out if he does. Anyone think they could have won this with Goff at QB had everything else been equal in the evolution of their roster? I do, Stafford was not the epic trade that got this done.
Epic? No but when you climb a hill, you eventually go over the peak. So, between Stafford and the year over year changes, the Rams made it. Don't think they would have done that with Goff
No matter what fantasy football says or cybermetrics defense still wins championships. Trent Dilfer has a ring for god sake.
Buc's returned 22 starters could not get there again, I would bet my right nut the Rams will not repeat.
Remember Josh McDaniels 4 years ago, it happens. Would you leave sunny California with a fat raise to move to frozen Minnesota?
I know they announced Thursday should be the day... I would not be surprised if something like that happened.
Just saw they announced his hire, good luck going forward. I think the vikings moving to the next generation of leadership is a good thing for the franchise.
Antonio Brown needs some serious help, it's like the longer he is quiet the worse the tirade is going to be. He'll end up a Cowboy, I'm almost certain of that. If you're not going to help yourself, just go the eff away. No one cares anymore.
He did put up some weird posts. On one radio station the 2 disc jockeys were trying to decide it those were retirement or suicide posts.
Hard to say what's going to happen with Aaron. Imagine the amount of stuff weighing on him. Seems like he's in a not so good place right now? I could be totally wrong, but he has posted some cryptic stuff.
Honestly sick of the crap, as a fan and owner I am not hanging on the decision, the franchise will go on without you Aaron.
I'm starting to wonder if Rogan didn't sway his "hippie" side along with the immunization. Maybe dabbling into some pyschedelics or something.
More important to packer fans, no talks with Adams since season ended. Literally all i hear from them
