Remember the last O coordinator the vikings hired as a head coach, he was also an O coordinator that did not call plays prior to being a head coach? Even Minnesota media is saying the vikings have hired a first time GM and a first time head coach what could possibly go wrong. People are also saying if you are not going to offer Harbaugh a job why bring him in. I believe the vikings did the right thing they turned to the new generation of the NFL rather than recycled.
What are you all making for the super bowl? I will not be having a party so it doesn't matter. I am going to make beer cheese soup and pretzel bites.
Father in law just had back surgery so we are going over there for a dinner. Mother in law said I'm in charge of the Moscow Mules. Would have liked to make appetizers and "game food" but can't turn down meatloaf and green bean casserole. I am hoping the Bengals win.
I love some good meatloaf, I can't bake the ketchup in on the top because my wife will not eat ketchup. Go Bengals.
If he doesn't get it done, what about McVay? He gave the Rams future up for a now moment, should he be disciplined in some regard if they fail? No way they retain the current team beyond 2 years. Is a SB win worth 10 years of ho-hum?
Those decisions are way above the head coach level. The owner and GM were 100% on board with all those moves.
Alot of people thought Jimmy Johnson was crazy when he came into Dallas and did some off the wall stuff (at the time). So I wouldnt assume next 10 years under McVay will be Ho-Humm. They had alot of bills and debt to catch up on, so to try and get that ROI sooner from business stand point makes sense. I would say just enjoy this year for what it is, and worry about next year when it gets here.
That mentality is an absolute joke made by a person who has zero knowledge of the NFL. According to this logic Joe Burrow is now as good or better than Dan Marino, ludicrous logic.
I don't care who wins this evening, let it be a good game. Can't root for either team, either way it goes the QB will be overhyped.
Have to admit, I find myself rooting for the Bengals for some reason. Division opponent I can't stand and hate the feeling of enjoying them scoring. Long way to go, but that botched hold on XP for the Rams may play a factor late in the game. Will they go for 2 on the next TD?
