Looks like the Packers will get a couple chances to be coach killers before the end of the season. New NFL rules seem to encourage in season firings.
Just an FYI the Lions are mathematically still in the playoff hunt after we defeated the Vikings last week.
Parity I say, pretty pathetic the lower half of the NFL, there are only 4 legitimate teams this season.
Going to be interesting to see what a week 14 bye does for the Pats. I'd hate seeing that 13 game stretch to start the season, but now it looks good, especially if it doesn't break their momentum and they secure another bye in 5 weeks.
Set your divisional bias side for a second, serious question. I have never really watched vikings games, seen a couple and that's about it. Is Cousins really that bad of a QB? Is he a decent QB in a bad system or the kink in the system? I only ask because his name has been mentioned for a possible Roethlisberger replacement and the only name I have seen that I may back is Derek Carr. Wilson and Rodgers wouldn't fit the division, and Rodgers isn't going anywhere with what, 2-4 years left at best. I don't even want to think about the free agents, pass, pass and pass(on choosing them). Pittsburgh's only likely option is to go big with a trade.
Does Ben try to go big on first or second down? I like second to work best, run on first, Johnson for 52 on second.
Steelers are taking the Buffalo approach. Even when you know it is run you can't stop it. Kieth Butler learned nothing fron Lebeau, arrogance gets you nowhere in a mentorship. Used to think it was Tomlin, really showing the true "kink" this year.
Last post. Tomlin needs to send Butler to the lockers and show what kind of DC he can be. Just about to shut this ****show off. Roethlisberger is not the problem
I'm not but the Steelers are. Roethlisberger and Heyward both pitched a *****. Done with this season, go to instant replay and give the win to the Lions.
