You don't think he comes back for that 31.5 million? Somewhere around that number. That's a chunk of money to walk away from, even if he gets benched part way through the season. They need a run game more than anything right now.
Maybe I grew up differently but if we got beat by someone I wanted them to keep winning Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
Sore losers show me a good loser but they are still a loser but they lost to a team they claimed sucked, what does that say about the Steelers franchise? They sucked last night.
Not to be an ass I do not see my beloved franchise making it thru the tournament unscathed or undefeated.
It's not the franchise per se', Juju is slowly become another Antonio Brown type and Tomlin isn't cracking heads like he should be. Juju was dancing and posting to Tik Tok on opponents emblem midfield before the "Same ol' Browns comment". He's the "me" in team. As to your previous post, I used to be that way, root for whoever beat my team with the "If they can't win it, the team that beat them better", but I can't root for the Ravens, Browns or Cowboys under any circumstance. Well almost any, if the Browns and Ravens are playing with playoff implications I root for the team that can knock them both out And to your final sentence, they sucked the last 1/3rd of the season and got lucky a few times the previous 2/3's so lucky I wasn't overly confident in them going in.
I did not realize how much money was on the table for him. You are probably right. I say we pick up Ryan Fitzpatrick and a decent runningback. Ben will play decent until about week 9. Tomlin will switch Ben out for Ryan, who will lead the team to 2-3 awesome victories before flopping for the rest of the regular season. If we make it into the playoffs, we can rotate a now rested Ben back in to lead the team to Super Bowl victory #7 With a strategy like that I just can’t see how we lose next year. Sounds like Pouncey is retiring, he said he would stick it out with Ben until the end. Maybe Ben does retire, can't see him coming back for a rebuild of the offensive line.
3 years ago today I got to witness what will likely be the best football game of my entire life (not counting on the Vikings to win a Super Bowl in the next 50+ years). I don’t care what happened the week after this game... This was one of the best days of my entire life and it’s something I’ll never forget. It’s crazy how vividly I remember the entire day even though we started tailgating at 8am and didn’t leave the bars until 2am that next night. I get goosebumps every time I watch it. Not many things can make me do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had a thought dawn on me this morning. I am in the same place I was when the Giants beat the Packers at Lambeau in the NFC championship game. My son and I headed down to Tampa to watch the game at our favorite Packer bar, we left at halftime I knew how the game was going to end up. This is not going to end in heartbreak I am mentally prepared.
Sure feels like a Super Bowl is a possibility. I would love to pop off and talk crap about a 14th but the stakes are now higher. I know what a SB loss feels like, it sucks.
Germ this is an adult conversation about the NFL, lion fans get back to the kids table with the viking fans.
