We'll find out Sunday, only game that matters for me is Sunday nights Steelers game. Jets did beat the Rams though
Unfortunately, you are correct. The o-line has been suspect all year long. It came back to bite us in the playoffs as I knew it would. Wilson throwing an uncharacteristic pick-6 didn’t help either.
Doh! I shouldn’t have come here looking. I’ve promised someone I’d wait 20 mins for them before watching the game. I’ve got it recording. Pick 6? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I don’t know what is worse, watching that snap or listening to Colinsworth gloat about it. I want to rip my ears and eyes out! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
And now a pick... I got a redfishing trip to plan for... Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Wth??? I decided to skip to live and the Steelers went from being down 14 to 28??? You know, I don’t even want to know. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Was a game last year that started like this, want to say the playoffs and they came back. Was it the Chiefs or Titans? Gotta google it
every odd bounce and fluke play is going their way rn. We are getting whipped too badly for me to even be mad. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Snap over his head-not his fault. Pick off receivers hands-not his fault. Waiting for team mate to recover the snap over his head-his fault
I will not be a particpant to the thread for the forseeable future. Ben needs to retire, Fichtner needs fired, Butler needs fired and Tomlin needs to clinch his cheeks, he should be on the hot seat but we all know the Rooney's do not fire coaches.
Starting to wonder if Roethlisberger just faded out due to improper training/weight cutting. Similar to a boxer/fighter who waits to the last minute to cut weight for the weigh in. He had put on a lot of weight post surgery and cut it pretty quick just before season. Training camps were FUBAR due to Covid, no preseason. Titans screwed up the bye week. I think he just ran out of gas and wasn't physically in shape. Doesn't explain the complete collapse of the defense, although losing Dupree and Bush did, but they still had a defense capable of stopping good offenses, they were too inconsistent. Hurts worse losing to the Browns than being eliminated from the playoffs, you could argue they didn't belong in the playoffs to begin with. Not sure if there will a draftable QB deep into the first round or not, but I foresee some high picks coming over the next several seasons. Not something I'm looking forward too either. Need to go back to Steelers football though, draft a running back and then go after a QB if needed. See if Mason Rudolph can get it together and be a starting QB or not. Pouncey will leave when Ben retires, Ben has a huge chunk of money coming next year, so he probably will not retire this post season.
Ben can’t beat his age, he came out looking pretty good at the start of the season. Especially considering his surgery. But then around week 12 he started to sag. Very similarly to Peyton Manning in his last season. I would have liked this game to have ended on a better note, since It’s most likely Roethlisberger’s last. But it is what it is.
