A friend from church was the Seahawks Communications Director for almost 20 years. He brought the 2014 Superbowl ring to church last night and let me try it on.

If a F'ing kicker gets the SB MVP I am going to be disappointed.

Seen this coming for Maye. But didn't expect NE D to be able to keep them in it for this long. Halftime helped them get some oxygen, Darnold about to wear them down I think.

I may actually go to bed before the game is over if New England can't close the gap. I don't think I have ever done that for a SB before. I just can't stay focused.

Might be the first time a player gets suspended for the first game of the regular season for an act in the Superbowl after that thrown punch.

If there was a justification for it, it would be this Superbowl.

Missed it by a point

Wasn't an offensive shootout either, surprised NE was solid on defense the entire game. Maybe I gave Darnold a little too much credit.

Had he not gotten injured, I think this was a better match up for Nix amd the Broncos. As long as his foot is not a chronic issue, I think Denver has to be an early favorite for the AFC.

Once again a Packer's back up QB will move on to be a starter for another team. QB factory.

Maybe true, but the QB options this year are pretty weak sauce…Tua, Fields, Murray, Minshew…

Other than 15 or so QB's there are no star QBs.

You’re gonna like this guy, big fella, throws hands, good penalty killer. I’m pretty pissed he’s out here, but a 2nd round pick(2028) is a fair trade for Nashville. He already knows Hynes and his system, so he should fill in pretty quick.

I am starting to get fired up about this team, and I should know better than to get optimistic about a Minnesota sports team.
