That tie may be a big factor come last 3 weeks of season. While they didn't lose, that was a bonehead play to end the game. 9 times out of 10 that clock runs to 0 and game ends. They managed to get lucky, but no way was that the right call even though it worked out.

Due to no ACL and injury history most teams viewed him as a short term player.

The right team ended up with him, he'll only get better with the talents mentoring him.

I had to ask the same thing.

Most common answer seems to be, next on the list of super bowl half time shows I won't watch.

In four weeks, we can say packers stink on the road.

    Lost to Cleveland
    Tie to Cowboys

So Steelers have control of the AFC North. Next 2 games are divisional match ups, then the Packers and Colts before the trade deadline.

If they somehow manage both division wins I can see Omar Khan trading for a wide receiver before the Packers game. Wouldn't be surprised if he waits until after trying for steal at the trade deadline. A lot of good receivers out there on teams close to playoff elimination, for all intents and purposes anyway.

If they drop one to the Browns or Bengals I can see them waiting until after Green Bay. Should they lose that one as well they stand pat with their current roster.

I just don't see it unless they don't have confidence in going anywhere post season. They obviously do not favor Roman Wilson, so if CA3 gets hurt again Metcalf can't do it alone. Freirmuth isn't being utilized the same way he once was.

I say if they stand pat they are giving up on the Rodgers plan and Howard may leap frog Rudolph. At some point they have to play Howard IMO.

3 of the next 4 games are at home, if they drop 2 of them at home, then hosting a playoff game is meaningless and the season would be half over.

They have to have a legit WR2 to go anywhere this season, with QB such a huge unknown next year. They're losing compensatory pick value each week so I see a multi player trade rather than draft capital, kinda like they did with Smith and Ramsey for Fitzpatrick.

    We'll see.

    October is huge either way.
