If the Eagles win tonight they will be at 500 all time win %. That is kinda cute. Packers are over 200 games over 500 all time and hold the record for most wins in NFL history.

Not official NFL business, but semi-NFL related; my older son's football team played their first game of the season last weekend. These are 13/14 year olds, mostly in 8th grade, playing their final year of youth football before high school. For many of them, it's the last season they will play together before becoming rivals, depending on which HS they will attend.

Turns out that Ryan Poles' son was the starting QB for the team they played against. Poles is the Bears GM for those who don't know. Many of the Bears players and staff live in and around the same area, so it's not uncommon to see them around youth sports when you play teams from this area. It's a much larger program than ours, and they've beaten us the last two seasons, so our boys expected a challenge going into the game.

The poor kid was under pressure from the start of the game as our defense really put it on them. He was under pressure, threw a pass off his back foot, and didn't get much into it, which allowed my son to pick it off and run it back for the first touchdown of the game. Their QB eventually got knocked out of the game with an injury when our other OLB was given a free shot at him on a missed block assignment. Our team ended up winning the game 20-0.

    That is all for now.

For fantasy football purposes, I need AJ Brown to have a legacy game tonight. Pumped the season is starting!

Pick 6 in your first game of the season is pretty cool, but I still think shooting a buck with a bow is cooler.

I have to give credit where it's due, the Cowboys played a great game tonight! But, the Birds squeaked it out. Also, that spitting incident with Jalen Carter was sickening, and inexcusable! The man needs to take a serious look at himself, he should be ashamed of that stunt. I'm glad they kicked him out of that game! Lastly, I don't hold out much hope for ****erson this season.

Fly Eagles, fly, on the road to victory! E, A, G, L, E, S, Eagles!! :tu:

Jalen was stupid to respond to Dak's spitting towards the Philly huddle.

Jalen and Saquon brought the heat for The Zarrdians last night. Off to a good start in attempting to defend my FF Championship. :nana:

I had AJ Brown last year and he was very up and down. He would go a couple weeks with no action and then have a 100 yard/2 TD game.

First game of the year and I went to bed with the lightning strike delay. Glad I did, not another point was scored.

Eagles will not repeat if that is the disciplinebthe coaching staff instills. Too many dumb penalties, not counting the ejection, and not just 1st game excitement penalties.

Cowboy's will be the same ol' Cowboy's. Start out looking promising then start doing Cowboy things to end up 9-8/10-7 at the end of the year.
