I was pissed that Ditka let the fridge get a touchdown instead of sweetness in the SB, he was the Bears for a number of years.

Minus McMahon, that whole team was a model of what teams need to be to this day.

Thank you Steelers brass for not going QB Rd 1. Cam Heywards replacement is at hand, develop him well.

Welcome to Pittsburgh Will Howard, Rd 4.

I was convinced the Vikings were going to take a CB/S. A lot of new pieces on the OL this year.

Steelers with solid draft picks thus far, so glad they did not Sanders or Milroe yet. Next round sure, but no need to draft a QB if Rodgers is coming in, even though I'm not happy about that either.

If Pickens is traded, it needs to be player +2026 draft pick(s). Not opposed to it but get value where it is at.

Could have close to double digit picks next year to attack the QB position while gaining youth with quality picks the past couple drafts.

Milroe off the board, rather see my initial 4th round choice of Will Howard before Sanders.

Cleveland going to take Sanders here, if not Raiders do at 98/99.

Have to wonder now if Deion Sanders won't be questioned for ethical/influencing/tampering to get his son projected for a top pick in the draft?

Far fetched yes, but is it impossible? Mel Kyper is freaking out with his #1 QB prospect.

Sanders to the Raiders at 108, Howard to Steelers to learn behind a regrettable Aaron Rodgers for possibly 2 years.

Steelers need to get the top safety available.

Surprised he lasted until the 6th round, but quality pick especially at that point of the draft. Not much risk if he doesn't pan out.

Steelers went big time Defense again, not unhappy with that considering what the offense has to offer at the moment. Build a legit shutdown defense and QB play is less of an importance not needing 30+ every game.

53 man roster is going to be interesting when we get there.

Looks like Sanders may become one of the top QB's yet.

    In the UFL

My bet is he doesn't make the 53 man roster of the Browns. Jerry Jones may do a Jerry Jones like move and take him in, but he's a great QB in a weak college level program.

Interested to see how Travis Hunter does in Jax. Was he really a 2 first round pick? Ultimately he is going to be an every down back on one side of the ball, or a fill in for both sides. Deion should have been a little more forthcoming to him about why he developed turf toe that ultimately led to the demise of his career. No one can sustain 90+ snaps a game for 17 games a season+ for an entire career.

He said if he can't play both he'll quit. He's going to be put to that test by 3rd year at the latest. If he lasts that long.

they did pass on sanders, and did pick Howard, which i was very pleased with, they didnt have the draft captial to move up to get JEANTY, i like the kid from iowa(RB they Drafted) , power and shifty but not fast fast.

So, here's my prediction. Kinda mentioned a possibility of it previously but hearing what has transpired since the draft, I'm actually starting to see it.

At some point within the coming league year, maybe into the next off season. Shedeur Sanders will be traded to Dallas where they will then switch it up at HC and bring in Deion Sanders as HC to keep the father son tradition alive.

It just feels so Jerry Jones'ish and add "Prime-Time" to the equation and it just makes so much more sense.

Hell, maybe even an agreement was made to send Dak to the Browns in a trade before pick 144 was made.

Lebron just did a similar feat as father/son teammates.

Seriously though, does Sanders' number get retired in Colorado if his father is not calling the shots?

I'd take Sanders over Howard. Howard went against a NFL DC and score 10 points. Now Sanders has something to prove, look out.
