17 game schedule now, I could see Carolina or Cleveland going 0-17 in one of the next 3 seasons. Both New York teams are going to be hurting for a few years as well. The Browns are absolute gutter dwellers, Watson made the easiest 250 million of all time. At least Wilson actually played most of his games before getting tossed. If Steelers do not resign him another team will, willing to bet Watson has played his last NFL game, might find a desperate XFL/USFL team to sign him so won't say he has played his last game,.... yet....
Not giving up on him yet, but Steelers fans are quick to criticize. Russ needs to start finding the end zone or they will turn on him as quick as they did Rudolph. Still think they win this game, but Boswell is not the future of this team for championsgip aspirations
Talking about the home crowd when I say they, I am amd always will be a Steelers fan. I'm getting frustrated, but not to that point yet.
I agree, just hard to accept the final 9 games are 6 divisionals, Washington, Philadelphia and Kansas City. I don't care how good of a team you are, that is brutal leading up to wildcard weekend.
The latest chapter of "How many ways can we lose a game in one season" authored by the Chicago Bears. That goes on Eberflus as much, if not more, as Williams. He should have called a timeout from the sideline.
I almost said Eberflus should be fired after yesterday's game. Deleted it from my post and said he was just as, if not more, liable for that time mismanagement as/than Williams was. The head coach is the ultimate "full stop" caller on the field. Few exceptions apply by some of the elite QB's who have garnered that trust of the head coach/coordinator. Not a rookie QB in a high anxiety full pressure situation. Glad to see Bears upper management seen the same thing. Yesterday's snafu should have gotten any head coach fired, regardless of stature.
