Wait Tony has time to rant on Facebook but can't be bothered to come here and comment? Somebody PM me their cell # so I can text a more dedicated individual when I shoot a buck this fall.
The OC was the highest paid OC in the NFL...LOL Tyrod got me 30 fantasy points. Not complaining. I only need him 2 more weeks. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Seattle has to be the most disappointing team so far. With Washington a close second. Seattle is in some real long term trouble it appears.
I've actually wondered how Seattle made it this far being as good as they have. They pay 6-8 players about 80% of the cap money and rely on cheap "diamonds in the rough" players for the rest. It's bound to backfire at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seattle looked bad (started 2-4) at the beginning of last season and still made the playoffs. But, they definitely have some challenges on the offensive line.
Brady vs Belichick... Who gets the credit for what they've done? (Percentage) I'm going with 20% for Brady and 80% for Belichick.
I would say closer to 50/50. They won last nights game mainly with defense and special teams. When Brady is in the game they run an entirely different offense versus the backup qbs. I was impressed with how JG played but it was a small sampling.
I have to go more Bill then any player, look at what they have done with Brady out with injury or suspension. Bill has built a culture with his team that if the players do their job as coached they will win more often than not.
I weigh heavily on Bill and I think Brady was just a product of the system. Not saying Brady isn't a great QB. But I think they could of took a bunch of guys in that system to fill that role. As proved by every other QB that steps in wins game the same as Brady does without missing a step. Time and Time again BB is probably the GOAT to be honest. So i'll go 90% BB and 10%. And I suspect the Pats will be just as good as long as BB is there long after TB retires.
It's not just the rookie last night.. It's the Matt Cassel season and the two games with Garoppolo. Brady is good, but I don't think I'd be picking him to win me one game unless BB is included. I gain more and more respect for what Peyton did every time I see the current Colts play.
Matt Cassel lead to the Pats an 11-5 regular season record. The problem with that is they went 16-0 the previous year with Tom. I think Bill and Tom have needed each other to be as successful as they have been long term. If Bill wins a Super Bowl with another QB my opinion may change a little. I do think Bill is the best coach in NFL by a wide margin. But even the best coaches need players in order to win SB's.
