Alot of talk by us and everyone else about Farve, but have you seen his "replacement" up there. He is 19 for 38 for 450+ yards, 6 TD'ds and no picks. Not only that, he is a general on the field. Greg Jennings got roughed up and that will hurt if he does not come back quick, but dang Rodgers looks good. Looks like last year and all the hype has been justified.

Going to the falcons game tonight against the Chargers, taking the wife and we are excited...we love Falcons football. 11 rows behind the chargers bench.

Brandon Marshall- Cutler helped those numbers, he is a very good receiver....JUST DOESN"T get it at all. I would give him the same deal that the bucs gave Keshown...and then trade him for some picks, next year.

Albert Hanysworth...put a little extra on Brady last night...not needed, but I guess that's football. Brady looks as if he did not miss a game, what a stud.

Simeon Rice has joined the UFL, this league does not intrigue me in the least, the XFL did a much better job at promoting itself and beside Tommy Maddox and he hate me...that league was a years worth of nothing.

There is plenty more but please chime in.

The Packers are going to be the team to beat in the NFC this year, they are incredible on both sides of the ball, hopefully Jennings isnt hurt to bad, and Rodgers for MVP

Brandon Marshall is top 10 talent, but needs to GET OUT of Denver...he should go to either Chicago or Minnesota (imagine Favre with that kind of receiving weapon to go along with his running threats).

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got lit up by Rodgers and the Packers WR/TE's last night. So much for him bieng a top 5 corner

Little known Samkon Gado is becoming a beast,

Charles Woodson is going to have a steller year now that Capers is going to use him on the blitz and in coverage, expect 60 tackles, 5 sacks, 5 FF, 6 INT and 2 TD's....

He's in Denver..and there is all kinds of words being said about his hearings and Denver not supporting him and whatnot..i don't really know much about it. What i do know is he is a top 10 receiver in this league and can put up HUGE numbers....who cares about more drama when you can have a top 10 RB and WR on a team with Favre and the #1 defense?

The PACKERS as the team to beat in 2009? No.. no way.

Why? Let's try the Viks and the Bears.. 2 teams they will face 4 times this season. And I'll take those teams combining for a 3-1 record over the Pack.. because in football it's ALL about match-ups.. even a 2-2 record is VERY likely.

It's WAY too early to figure out who's who just yet.

Can't argue though that the likely NFC representative is LIKELY from the NFC east.. NOT the north. Simple.. they use a more potent offense in this division that's just more modern.. and actually USE the tight-end position.

And it's also a great probability that the Eagles are the most talented team in football.. their biggest draw-back will be the likely QB controversy that will brew eventually.

AFC.. is another tale.. but I expect a healthy Brady will restore the aging Pats to a somewhat former glory.. not as good as a few years ago.. but they will hold their own again.

I usually don't have a SB pick til week 6.. and I've been fortunate to predict several SB's over the years.. from the Eagles-Pats SB where I had that one right down to the score.. and the Giants-Pats a couple years ago where I had the Giants winning.. and everyone laughed at me.. I just smile about it now.:D

A good early season pick would read Pats and Eagles.. again. But a reverse score of 24-21 Eagles.

But I'll wait to week 6 to make my final prediction.. gotta see ALL the moves in those first few weeks first and how teams are matching up. And MORE importantly.. have to view what the coaching strategies have become.

Football is all about trust.. you HAVE to have it for your team to succeed.. by week 6 you can see who's trusting whom.

(Forgot to give a nod to the Colts.. as I think they may have a playoff kick in them yet too.)

If Edwards keeps his head, or gets it back, the Bills will go far in the playoffs .... but that's a big IF..

as far as the cancer called TO ... I am SO glad we have him ... call him what you want ... he is one of the greatest receivers to EVER play the game ...

He should suck it up and do his job. He's an idiot IMO. He's not getting paid millions of dollars to act like a 4th grader in practice. More cancer than Favre if you ask me.

Be careful what you wish for.......... see Dallas Cowboys! Loaded with talent and drama in recent history. Just doesn't work.

Good point about the Eagles Duke...I am on record at work for saying over 1000 times that this WILL bite them this year. Mcnabb states in the oress conference after the hgame Thurs...we did not start clicking until we quit trying "stuff", that is not a quote but he said something very similar. If they do not dominate that division and/or if Mcnabb gets nicked up like he always does, their fans are going to be screaming for Vick. Bad deal if you ask me.

Eagles are their own worst enemy and Reid is the main reason with McNabb right on his heals. Don't see it nhappening with them again this year. Major chokers they are. Proven time and time again. Worse than the Bills were.

The Detroit Lions went 4-0 last year during the pre-season.
