I know 99% of the world hates that Patriots, and the the 1% who does like them either lived or lives in New England, but damn they looked good. Tebow didn't have 2 seconds all game to throw the ball before at least three guys where dragging him down. If the Patriots defense plays with that intesity the rest of the playoffs (which they lacked all yr) then they could be tough to beat.
The Patriots didn't lack effort on defense at all. They lacked healthy bodies. They had special teams and receivers playing DB. Their run defense isn't that bad, and they played a running team Saturday. I know a lot has been made about how awful their defense is, but when you have guys playing out of position and offensive players trying to play defense, its not going to be pretty.
I agree with **gulp** Matt ... they are a great football team ... and they will go to the Superbowl this year .... I hope I am wrong about that .... I think we will see Giants / Patriots in the big game .... and I love the Giants ... Eli is the.most dangerous post season QB out there .... the guy is better than his brother with the pressure on ...
Tom Brady says to watch your mouth. But he's okay with Eli being the second best post season QB in the game right now.
