Suisham is inconsistent at best and it would have been the longest in history, but what do you have to lose at the end of regulation?

    Oh well.

Been having them for about 12 weeks now. Should be doubled this week though. They may as well change the name from Sportscenter to Tebowcenter for this week. I wonder if they'll even talk about the NC game tonight.

I went 3 for 4 last week with my picks, but they were all relatively easy. This week, I know who I DON'T want to win, but I have no clue really as to what might happen.

I am very scared about the Giants. If the Packers do win.... I will be very scared with whoever wins the 49ers/Saints.

I guess that means I don't have a ton of confidence in my team right now. Having said that, I didn't last year at this time either.

Amazing that my team is 15-1 and I’m scared ****less about the 9-7 Giants at home.

Giants are playing good, but it wasnt' too long ago when they were on a 4 game losing streak. Biggest reason for that was their secondary. They are still suspect back there and the guy chucking the pigskin against them is pretty good.

49ers at home with a slop field slowing down the Saints. Defense and running game = recipe for playoff success

Texans get it done with Tebow (i mean Yates). Again, defense and running game. Can never argue about the Ravens defense, but nobody seems to talk about how Flaco and that offense is supposed to score on the best defense in the game.

Tom Brady vs. Tim Tebow...... nuff said

Thank you!! Not saying the Ravens aren't contenders, because they certainly are, but I'm pretty sure Flacco is the worst statistical active playoff QB. Their defense and the running game may be what saves them.

Everybody is counting out the Ravens huh? Flacco has better stats than Tebow.

I only said that because of the previous post about Flacco having the worst stats of any of the remaining playoff QB's. I'm not bragging at all. Flacco is our QB now and we're in the playoffs. That's about as far as I can go on him.

His stats are winning us games right now and that's all this city cares about. I'll never make an argument that he's " elite".

    So are Tebow's.

Tebow has a much better TD/Int ratio, but you're right, their completion % are actually pretty close. Then again, Flacco has many more playoff appearances. Tebow also threw for over 300yds in her first playoff appearance, and Flacco has yet to break 200 if I remember correctly.

BUT (this is so you don't think I'm bashing the Ravens), stats aren't always completely telling as we all know. The bottom line is the Ravens are in the playoffs, won the AFC north, and the Steeler's didn't. In the end, that's all that matters.

I was just stating that historically speaking, Flacco has not yet lived up to be a playoff caliber QB. Maybe he doesn't need to be as long as they're winning.

Flaco has a Super Bowl ring. At the end of the day that's all that matters.

You can have the Marinos, Romos of the world. Give me a Brady, Aikman, Bradshaw, Elway, Montana, etc... anyday! It's all about the rings.

    Here are regular season numbers

    Flacco: 20 td, 12 int (1.7/1); completion percentage 57.6%

    Tebow: 12 td, 6 int (2/1); completion percentage 46.5%

TD/Int is close to the same and Flacco has thrown twice as many passes. There is big difference between the completion percentages. Another thing to realize is that Flacco has face MUCH tougher competion (more games versus top ten defenses than any QB in the NFL this year). Flacco has a stonger arm, better accuracy, and can even through a spiral...really no comparison between these two IMO

Right...I was speaking specifically to playoff statistics...since they're in the playoffs.

Flacco is sub 50% (don't remember the stat, but you're on top of them, look it up:D) career in the post season with at least 6 interceptions (can't remember the exact number, but he definitely has at least six), and has only thrown for over 200yds in one of his playoff appearances (I stand corrected on my previous post... I forgot about last year's playoff game in the wild card).

Regular statistics are great and all, but then there's Dan Marino :D

I don't discount Flacco's talent. Yes, he is better than Tebow, but in the Playoffs, he does not do well historically (not all his fault and of course there were a few good statistical games).

    He does? :D
