Dang it. What fun is it when you don't play into the irrational fan role that guys on the internet are so susceptible to fall into?!

I know how to curb my excitemant.

I can't wait for the game. We have that cinderella feel...if we win..thats nice.

But if we lose, it was to a better team and we can get started on our defensive revamping sooner. Lol

Why do people always want football to be played in a blizzard? It makes no sense. It devalues the product on the field.

I would much prefer teams play in perfect weather, therefore, the teams can actually play football.

    Opening Weekend Predictions:

Packers squeak out win over 49ers
    Eagles over the Saints.

Chiefs curtail a sluggish Colts of late
    Bengals over the Chargers

The great thing is what I think will happen is what I want to happen as well in these 4 games.

Because we live in the cold snowy weather so therefore we want the game to be played in the cold snowy weather. Plus it keeps the riff raff out.

But that doesn't make much sense.

Wouldn't you want the best product on the field?

I don't think football in good weather determines the quality of the product at all.

I missed this. I would love to see that as well.

I'm going with the Packers to win it all. With Rodgers back and that incredible win on the road against the bears, they have a surge of new life and momentum. Cobb being back is huge too. They've found a running game. I dont' know... just have a feeling they are about to play their best football. Defense is a little suspect, but I think they will simply outscore everyone.

** sorry Siman.... I'm usually very wrong with such predictions.

Was it the Philly/Detroit game earlier this year that was played in a blizzard? Did you watch that game? There was like 13 fumbles

Nobody could catch. The players couldn't run. It was just bad football.

I'm just saying that I would rather the only affect on the game being things controlled by the players or fans.

I can't wait to see Jimmy Graham pull the goal post in Philly out of level at least twice. It's been a tough year away from NOLA but I don't see the Eagles stoping Brees. I want a re-match in Seattle.

    Agreed.

The weather makes the game more interesting. Unpredictable. You never know what is going to happen. Even an extra point is challenge. It was awesome. In good weather a 50 yard field goal is pretty much a gimmie in this day in age. Borrrrrrrrring. The players still decide the game; they just have to persevere the elements.

Dome teams are a bunch of pansies.

It lowers the product on the field. I'd rather both teams be able to play 100% of their capability.

Should the Packers put a dome over Lambeau field?

 I just don't get the desire to play in cold weather. It is no fun for anyone.
