Its not ball washing if its true Jokes aside, Ryan, Rodgers or David Johnson have the best INDIVIDUAL case for MVP. Considering what Rodgers has done down the stretch in recent weeks, i give him the SLIGHT advantage over Ryan, but...im biased. Carr couldnt win the big game when it mattered. Zeke, Dak have the best OLINE in the NFL, glorifying their numbers. Tom Brady was suspended for cheating at the beginning of the season.
Brady being suspended actually to me is an argument for him as much as I despise Patriots and Belli....astounding at what he's done without 4 games.
Johnson. He was the Cardinals offense this year. Between the horrendous O Line, and subsequent terrible play by Palmer, they should thank their lucky stars they had him. Could definitely make a case for Zeke, but he had an incredible line. I'm a Steelers fan, and Bell is a top 3 back without question, but not MVP. Rodgers, lol. Sent from my Turbo 2.
Inconsistently terrible for first half of the season...I use the term terrible in the sense compared to what MVP should do. Ryan has been a better QB than him this year....Brady could be argued as well.
Well I personally am sick and tired of the media bias in this country, screw the Associated Press I am going to ignore their vote and name my own MVP next Monday morning.
The Brady was suspended for cheating comments from a Packer fan are a ****ing joke!!! There is video of Rodgers saying he has the balls inflated over the legal limit and hopes they make it in the game. That is ****ing cheating too then. Can't have it both ways!!!
Thats not exactly true, he says he would prefer them over-inflated. Never said that he made the ball boys do it for him.
Now Tom put down the bitter juice just because the vikings are eliminated does not mean you get to pee on the parade of the fans of teams that control their own destiny and have not been eliminated. Plus viking fans should be happy they have a shiny 1.1 billion $ stadium, just because the siding blows off in a stiff breeze you don't have to be so sad.
Sure Tom was suspended but clearly Roger was coming down on the entire Patriots organization for their attempts to bamboozle and flim flam the NFL with their history of highjinxs.
I had typed up a long response, but Tapatalk is dumb and I lost it. I'll cliff note it. I have nothing against Rodgers aside from being surrounded by mid westerners on here who's passion for him is second only to the man crush those express toward Cam Hanes. Stat wise, he's in the running, but not in the top discussion at the position (all things considered, Ryan gets the nod over Rodgers from stat/team reliance). I just think the consistency factor (remember Rodger's performance early to mid season was shaky at best...a few fans here even questioned whether he peaked already), the importance to the team, and of course stats, Johnson has the whole package.
Matt said it perfectly. It doesn't take anything away from Rodgers or his late season explosion to admit he doesn't deserve the MVP. Which I don't feel he does, no matter this weekend.
I can't believe that it is all taken so seriously, being an NFL fan is all about being a fan and not always being rational. Oh sure I might come off as slightly biased about the team that plays in a city called Title Town, but really the real joy the single thing that makes me enjoy the journey that is an NFL season is when it is evident that the streak of 55 years without a SB win is intact and extending.
What Johnson did was awesome, but...without making the playoffs or getting close to breaking records, its gonna be hard for a RB to win it. I think the AP will give it to Brady or Ryan. Unless Rodgers comes out and throws 7 TD passes on Sunday. Unless you watch Packers games, you dont get to see the throws or plays that Rodgers makes weekly that are just unbelievable. Plays that Brady can't make because of his legs or Ryan cant make because of his arm.
True. I could say that about Ben as well, but I don't think he's MVP worthy (and, NO, I'm not putting Ben on the same level as Rodgers, lol).
