You have to have a QB that can throw accurately down field over 25 yards before you invest in expensive receivers.

Yeah but your best reciever ever would rank third at best behind the Vikings best recievers of all time.

I don't know why you always bring that up... A QB does not need to be able to throw it 70 yards down field to be considered good.

Didn't say 70 over 25 accurately is important.

You also have to consider our offense is not built on Teddy needing to throw the ball more than 25 yards down field. He attempted just 48 throws that went 20 or more yards. Teddy has shown all of the signs to be a big time quarterback... Unfortunately the Vikings run an offense that is focused around the run.

The Vikings lead the NFL with an accuracy percentage of 79.3%. Inflated by short throws or not... No small feat to be the most accurate in the league. His best passing grades come in the 10-19 yard range and he evened out on throws over 20 yards.

And... The Vikings finished with the better record

As a Browns fan and a day 1 anti-Manziel guy, the best part of the Browns free agency this offseason has been releasing Manziel. That is all.

Better record but draft order is decided by final season status or progression in the playoffs and where did the vikings draft oh yes before the Packers.:evil grin:, plus the vikings while completion % was up there yards per completion was at #32 in the NFL.
