It's crazy for fans to get excited about adding a free agent or being disappointed in the lack of moves. Hardly do you ever get a big free agent working out for a team. Of course there are outliers but the biggest impacts are made with those cheap free agents trying to prove something.

These guys are free agents for a reason. Either they aren't that good or the price tag will cripple a franchise.

Wasn't Jimmy in a contested deal when he was tagged as a TE last year, he may have been priced out of a job?

It will be interesting to see what the Seahawks do with Graham... He didn't do much blocking/wasn't that physical last year because of injuries to his shoulder. Going to be interesting to see how they modify the power running game after trading Unger and acquiring Graham.

Graham is a huge upgrade to the Seahawks team both from a TE and WR standpoint.

Maybe they're going to see if Russell can actually throw the ball 25 times a game and be successful... if they have any cap room to sign him. I can't believe they haven't extended him.

Russel can not utilize his outside recievers, Seahawks need a good TE

It seems to me that Seattle was pretty successful the past two years with Russell averaging over 25 throws per game?

I doubt they are looking to throw more? But being more effective at it (especially in the red zone) would make them a better team.

Yeah I'm really just hating on the guy cuz I think the media's opinion of him is a bit inflated. I think he benefits greatly from having one of the all time great defenses on his side and having Lynch as the focus of the offense. He's not Trent Dilfer, but he's not a top five QB like they seem to keep portraying him to be. Just my opinion though... not worth a whole lot.

I just read there is a rumor that New Orleans and TB are talking about a trade for Brees to TB for the first pick. He is 36 years old how the hell does anyone start something like that with a straight face?

I saw that too. It has to be made up because the Bucs would be insane to trade the 1st pick for him. I could understand trading it for more picks but not an aging QB.

Actually that is the key to beating the hawks, limit the run keep Wilson contained and make him throw it.

That is the Viking template, not ripping on the purple but they have rented and not developed in the past.

Didn't they pick QB's in the first round twice in the last four years? I remember Culpepper being a top pick back in the day. Most QB's do not turn out to be hall of famers like Favre and Rodgers.

He is talking about all of the players the Vikes have brought in to play QB.

George, McMahon, Cunningham, Farve, Moon and so on.

Missed the QB quote! I wish every team would be able to draft/develop QBs like Rodgers and Favre.

Look at the skill level of backup and the $ they get. QB's that are true superstars are rare out of each draft class. I can see why Brees would have value if you are a win now franchise, Tampa not even close.

I see what your getting at. I guess I thought recent years seemed more relevant. Joe Kapp? He played like 45 years ago?
