Definitely an upgrade over Kellen Davis, but Bennett drops a lot of passes. He's now our Jermichael Finley. :D

Wish he (Davis) worked out. He's a MSU grade so I was hoping he would represent my alma mater......nope. Another flop.

The cap is decimating my Ravens. We lost Boldin, Ellerbe, Williams, and Krueger. Now Reed's on the bubble. ARG. I got faith in Ozzy but DAYUM!

Well... it looks like the Ravens have self destructed. They gained all that money with Ray Lewis retiring.... but didn't know what to do with it. They over paid Flacko.... that's a contract that will never pay for itself. Now they're loosing people left and right. Today they lost 3 starters off defense and will still have Reed hanging out there as more than likely leaving. I know if I had a chance to leave a team that had been desimated like the Ravens were today... I'd be packing my bags. How about San Francisco picking up two of the Ravens today. Brother on Brother. LOL Anyway, the Ravens are dead for years to come and they got the most overpaid quarterback in the history of the league.

Losing boldin will really hurt the offense imo. Its a bad move to give Flacco that kind of money then trade away his best weapon.

I personally think Torey Smith would have been his best weapon this upcoming season either way. Definitally a BIG loss but I wasn't expecting him to stay. I'm more surprised he went to SF after all his talk of retiring a Raven and how he would retire if he was cut.

Greg Jennings reportedly close to signing with the Packers after all. They are trying to work out a deal. That would be great news if they can get him for the right price.

The problem with the Pack is they know they are going to have to shell out a ton of money for Rodgers and Mathews in the next couple of years. With Cobb and Nelson it is hard to sign a guy that old to that much money.

Jennings is 30 and Nelson is 28. Nelson may be younger, but Jennings is better. Not by a mile, but he is more consistant then Nelson. And a little tougher...

I agree. I think, if they sign Jennings, they will try to trade Nelson after next year, to maybe get some good picks, or a good defensive player. They also have that guy that made the roster in place of Driver towards the end of the year, he seemed decent, and the Packers are great at developing receivers. Seems like teams are always willing to overpay for wide receiver.

Id be happy with Cobb, Jennings, Nelson and Jones for the next 2 seasons until Nelson and Jones contracts expire. Throw in Finley and Steven Jackson and we'd be set.

I guess the Packers have offered to Jennings and Jackson. Still holding out hope on a big name defensive player (Johnson, Avril, Harrison)...

I see Nnamdi Asomugha was released. Not sure his price, but had a few down years with the Eagles, after 3 straight pro-bowls with Oakland. Wonder if he could have a new attitude if he came to the Packers, kind of like Woodson. I don't think I want Harrison, he's like 35. Not sure he has much left in the tank.
