You got him, now that he's gone - Manziel to Philly?

Browns came out OK in the end... but I think it was dumb risking losing JFF by taking the CB...

I also find it awkward that he ended up going to the very team that passed on him early on and started this downward spiral for him through the first round.

Marqise Lee to the Pats? Can't believe he has slipped this low and would be a huge weapon for Brady...

Sammy Watkins is a beast. I still think Cleveland should have taken him.

WOW. Can't believe the Pats took a guy with two torn ACLs first round... he could have easily been had 2nd or probably even 3rd round.

I thought STL would take a OL, that didn't surprise me. They need help on the OL bad. Jacksonville taking bortles at 3 did. Once manzail started to slide I did think dallas would take him if he got past MN. Clevaland made out good, although I think if they wanted manzail i'm surprised they passed him up at 8 and taking the chance that some of the other teams below them would take him. I really thought MN would take manzail and surprised they took bridegwater. I'm also surprised that Clinton-dix fell, green bay got a great player at 21.
I read this morning that the Texans are interested in trading some next year picks to get NE backup QB ryan mallet. I think he's better than anything they could have drafted this year so that makes sense.

Gilbert filled a need. I believe he was the better player and the Browns were right in taking him plus because of the trade they were able to get a first round pick for 2015 which could translate into a good reciever or OL for when Manziel takes the team.

Also on a side not- I would have liked my bears to have drafted a safety but I am pretty happy with their pick.

As for Johnny over rated, The Browns actually did a real smart thing picking him at 22. First they got a quality player that will fill seats, second since he was drafted later in the first round out of the top 10 they won't have to pay him as much so if he is a flop the cap hit isn't quite as bad.

The only thing that I would be worried about if I were the browns is the media attention they are going to get now. ESPN is in love with this guy and you know the fans will want him to play even if the smarter thing is to sit him the first year to learn.

My two favorite picks in the first round were Sammy Watkins from Clemson and DT Aaron Donald from Pittsburgh. Studs.

My alma mater, even though smaller, has started to average 1 guy a year who makes an NFL roster.

This years guy is Safety Jerome Couplin. He friggin vertical leaped 41.5 inches at the school pro day! I hope he makes it.

This is a pretty cool graph that goes along with that the talking heads were saying. They said Sabans program is so good that the kids are already coached up as far as they can go. It's the reason alot of them are busts in the NFL. No way based on previous years drafts I'd want a Bama player. Awesome in college not so much in NFL.

I am happy with the Vikings picks.

People are forgetting that Bridgewater was a projected #1 overall pick before his pro day. His stock fell because of 1 bad day... where he decided to throw without his glove on.
