Just one would be a huge step up, it would make the minnesota vikings a legitimate NFL Franchise. It is my belief that until a franchise wins a championship they are not legitimate and thus the fans are not peers and like children should be seen and not heard.
Well due to the absence of any reply or like to your post, it is evident that no one cares what you believe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't need likes or replies I like to believe that some viking fans honestly do believe they should stay out of an adult conversation when superbowls are being discussed.
With that ends any hope of a playoff run. Wow what an egg they just layed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My son was born here so he is a huge Vikings fan. Today he said he needed Zimmer's eye patch to watch the game...I told him he needed 2
While I am disappointed that the Vikings won't be playing their annual playoff game, I realize again that I didn't miss out on anything by not getting basic cable. Can't say I regret not seeing them self destruct again.
Some Observations... -I'm still in shock that Minnesota fell this much from their start...I expected reality to set it but never expected this. -Lions are now playing tough teams with a injuried QB...I predicted they lose 3 of their last 4 and it still might happen. -GB showed yet again how this season could easily be only a 3 or 4 win season by nearly again throwing that game away...however if the run game can keep this up man that is gonna take 15%-25% more pressure off AR as those handoffs are lot less stress on his now injured BOTH legs. -Monty out of Stanford intrigued me if we'd run him out of backfield because he is a tank of small frame man...I think he's found his spot. -Nelson/Adams decide to not play dropsies that game is never close really. -Only two more games and somehow GB may just limp into the playoffs and steal division...ultimately most likely saving MM job, but that seat has got to be stinkin' toasty. -Oh and Barkley 100% deserves a chance to win the 2017 Bears QB position....he's played exceptionally well over his stretch of starts.
Is coach Zimmer on the bubble? I just don't see the vikings firing him after this season but based on the 5-0 start it seems like he lost the team. He is a fiery coach and that is good but eventually that fury falls on deaf ears. AP really did not do himself any favors yesterday by trying to show the injury is not a concern, he can fumble just as well as he could before the knee injury.
Ty I do not think Mikes job was ever in danger, look at the injuries to the secondary. I do think the end is near for Ted Thompson. I would like to see Dom Capers go though.
I stated this on FB yesterday also (and Tom loved it lol! ).....but I get his stats and winning and playoff trips is among the best in his time with GB...but he is also arguably one of the most underachieving coaches in my time following football. Greatest QB in Franchise history most likely when it is all said and done with his career and I sense we get 1 SB...1. Now I know they are not the easiest thing to obtain (minus cheating NE... lol ) but still. Now who knows, Peyton didn't get his till late, other QBs have done similar so I know it isn't over but MM needs to change it up....but in the end I too just don't see firing him due to firing him: besides there isn't anyone out there unless you'd convince Dungy or Gruden to come coach Aaron. Dom needs gone, defensive side of the ball is young and undercoached I think with a lot of potential...needs refreshed. I love TT, his draft and develop mentality (albeit frustratingly boring at times) but I wouldn't be against a refresh there too. You do those things and you instantly give a fresh feeling to the club and maybe breathe some life back into MM in the process.
Packers might be a bit dangerous in the playoffs. Sure its likely they don't go very far. But nobody at the top of the NFC is really playing that great.
TWO big hurdles left to discuss playoffs...but we have some things which say we could be deadly: -We've played well away from home it seems... -Our OL sometimes gives Rodgers around 10 seconds it seems lol -Our defense is slowly getting healthy...and has been quite opportunistic of late. -Monty and Michael seem to be able to run the ball quite well in tandem.
