Honestly I'm not expecting anything better out of the running game with him returning, he was only averaging less than 2 yards per carry before the injury. The good thing is teams may still stack the box, maybe open up some quick passing opportunities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah I'm not either just shared a link I saw. Good thing is, is he definitely can be a threat so it might keep teams a little honest.
AR will be just fine on .5 legs. He made it work with a not so good oline 2 years ago in the playoffs and this year he has had incredible protection. Speaking of, after we released Sitton alot of fans were getting ready to burn the ship. Turns out we saved all that money and ended up with the best offensive line since the Favre days. We have alot of depth as well. Best unit the Packers have had this season. Monty getting the RB label is great. I wanna see him get 15 combined touches on the average over the next few weeks. Speaking of RB, Eddie Lacy getting hurt might be a blessing in disguise. We discovered Monty and it dropped his pricetag tremendously for next season. I want him back in a bad way...thunder and lightning next year. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Ted did not play the game the way he usually does with players like Sitton, he leaves as a free agent and the Packers get a comp pick for losing him. That being said Sitton has been injured most of the season. Fat Eddy will not be back some other team will think they can get him to manage his weight and over pay for him as a free agent.
The Lacy thing I'm split on. Yes I think other teams will attempt on him but I think for a price the Pack will match. I do like the concept of him and Monty happening with a serviceable back up in Starks or anyone else. Sitton leaving I begged for, as it was the only smart thing we could do especially with all the future stuff coming through OL wise. Tretter may or may not be back but that all depends on what Pack sees future of Linsley as. Spriggs has proven capable and farther along than many rookies when we've called on him (love my local town man!). I foresee a OL that is stout for at least a couple more years easy barring big injuries.
Ty, Starks has proven this season that he is no longer a serviceable back up. I honestly do not see Ted matching another teams offer for Eddy, he hates matching offers.
Starks is a serviceable number 3 anymore, nothing more. If you lose your top two options there, I'd rather have a vet in the system that knows plays....even if cannot impact games with much pop at all. I bet 100% he's here for exceptionally cheap to start but might lose that spot depending how Michael plays out or even someone else drafted and brought in. Monty and even Cobb make us able to go light at HB...shoot even Rip is showing promise of assisting there in packages similar to how Kuhn did.
The vikings have been operating out of the shotgun while AP has been out, playing out of the shot gun has been an issue for AP in the past.
Well, he signed a 2 year deal last year i believe so unless he gets cut hes coming back. Also, i read he is in the concussion protocol after a car accident. Also...Rip is the #3 ranked PFF FB.
They've also been under center with three-step drops. But yes, the majority is out of the gun where AP has struggled in the past Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jake I hope you were not sober when you posted this, silly viking fans you forget the franchise is cursed.
