It's all good and a reminder for all fans of all teams that the NFL season can change optimism levels week in and week out. Unless your team is quarterbacked by Ryan Fitzpatrick or Colen Kapernick, then you know what you are getting.
Had you not had an emotional investment in the outcome a person that takes gambling seriously would have taken the Bears and the points last night. Not talking crap at all look at 10 game trends with a divisional rival with a home underdog.
When were they fully healthy and all there? Sure the offense started the year healthier...but only for a game or two. And yes the offense SUCKED...and I stated the good thing is all these injuries has shook the dust off the playbook and he's heaven forbid changed some calls lol!
Further....the defense is stifling (yes they are)....right now they are growing in experience at an exponential rate though. For a team starting Demetri and Gunter at CB when they weren't planned on playing 10% of the snaps all year, mix in a 2nd year and a rookie playing MLBs, Clay being out last game...this Defense has me excited. Shields is most likely done, perhaps for his life....but if we get Rollins and Randall back and Clay healthy this defense is just that much better. The offense I think is starting to click, but I truly feel it has more to do with MM not calling the same crap calls he's called for 5 years straight now. Monty if able to return is such a fun weapon out of the back or split out....
You guys can keep giving each other **** but the fact is neither team has a chance to win the Super Bowl this year.
I won't speak for the Vikings as I don't know their roster as well....but I won't rule out a Packers run yet. If they play offensively like they did the first 4 games....no doubt they will fall flat on their face unless they go all Defense carrying everyone....ala Bears last run.
LMFAO Ty you look threw green and gold glasses. Your team isn't close to winning a Super Bowl this year. You can **** in one hand and wish in the other. I can tell you which one gets filled first.
If healthy and offense calls plays like they have been last couple games I no doubt can see them getting hot. Would I be more surprised they get hot than flop? Yup, first year I expect us to flame out than flame up if anything in quite a few years. However, I think to write them off this early with this many injuries is illogical.
Why would I wager when I even said twice now I expect flop before not? Health is a crucial ingredient and it seems we have lost Lacy for season, Shields for season, Cobb ain't gonna be healthy fully for some time now even if he comes back, Monty has health issues that worry me and our DBs decimated playing our 4th option at a starting position against JULIO JONES last week....
If I thought my favorite team had a chance to win and you keep saying I wouldn't count them out I would have no problem with a wager
Me saying I won't count them out just yet is not nearly the same as thinking they have a serious shot...at this point I cannot say that at all.
