Soccer fan, I threatened to kick my college age son out of the house this past summer and withhold $ for college I caught the repugnant youth in his bedroom playing FIFA soccer on his PS. I told him I don't give a crap what you do when you are away at school but that is not going to happen under my roof.
Yes that may have been harsh but it was compounded by an episode a few days before. It was a weekend and I was doing the death march behind the deck mower trying to keep the green weeds at least mowed like a lawn and I took a break to go in and have lunch and sit in the air-condition because I was sweating like a fat kid. I walk in the house thru the kitchen into the living room and there he is 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon fresh out of bed sitting in my recliner watching soccer on my TV. My son is going to be 21 in December and as I am proud of the fine young gentleman has become, I am very concerned that 1 he does not hate the Minnesota vikings enough anymore and 2 he is going to get married some day have kids and end up coaching soccer instead of football.
I would not be concerned that he is sitting watching soccer. I'd be more concerned that his lazy a@@ was not out helping me! My 19 year old son is much the same way though. LOl. I just keep telling him, when you go out of town for school, I don't have to let you back in! That message sinks in...for about a day.
Not as bad as when he binge eats a pound and a half bag of venison sticks, when you only have 4 left in the freezer and it is only August.
Glad to see you are back on the packer bandwagon, earlier it seemed like you had given up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not back on it still on it, easy to be good and high ranked in the power ratings in September December is when it all matters.
Sure some teams fade as the season goes on, when the weather changes and gets cold, it happens every year there are a few teams that are on top two or three games in that are not anywhere near dominate in December.
Why do you viking fans think every comment made is against you? My statement was a statement about the NFL in general.
The truth evidently does hurt, Brad was not making stuff up, not like he pointed out that your offense on a bitter cold day could not manage to score a single touchdown.
Because I refuse to believe you'd say anything positive about the Vikings. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
I think Bud Grant and Jerry Burns were good guys. When Benchwarmer Bob had his sports bar I thought they served good fries. Joe Sensor's place serves big burgers too.
I think we both said he had a lot of respect for Coach Zimmer. Otherwise we are just calling a spade a spade.
