Just throwing my Bears love out there. Well the sucked last year and their D was bad, but they got better. If I remember, they Beat the Pack in Green Bay on Thanksgiving? Then went out and added more to their D than any other team in the league? I am not saying Super Bowl....but those saying 5-11 and 6-10 might be very surprised. John Fox in year two??? Look it up!

John Fox in year two can not over come Jay Cutler as the starter or even on the team Jay sucks the life out of any team he is on, look it up.

That is Hershal Walker moves right there the injury to Teddy set the team back 2 years plus this year will be a disaster and craptacular in the new stadium that first round draft order bet is off now because the vikings gave up on the first round, this could be epic.

I am disappointed seems like it will be going from a rivalry to a pity party. First and a 4th round pick for Sam. hope he plays well above his career average and avoids injury like he has never been able to do.

As much as I revel in it I do feel bad I have many friends and relatives that are viking fans, there was such a buzz about this season so much excitement. I will also admit that I watched Teddy and he was set to have a breakout year he was the real deal with the step up he made and delivered the ball on the money in the middle of the field, and also greatly increased efficiency on 3rd down. Well at least there will be a Lombardi in Minnesota in 2018 for a couple days.

Caleb you are right about most things there, but your team is definitely not well coached. Your coach should give 99 percent of his paycheck to Rodgers. You easily have the third best coach in the NFC North and that is only because the Lions coach sucks just a little bit more.

Agree on this one. If McCarthy were less conservative the packers probably have at least 2 Super Bowls. Once the packers get up by a point, they sit on the ball and go 3 and out until they're behind.

I don't have a problem with McCarthy other than the fact that Dom Capers still has a job, I would have fired him 3 seasons ago.

Yesterday I hated everything about this trade, today I'm coming around a little. Primarily since as of right now there are no gaping holes the Vikings will need to fill for a first round pick next year. Also, they seem to have great luck with second third and fourth round picks recently. Lastly, they do have two extra mid round picks this year so they could potentially trade back into the first round if they needed to.

Of course this just might be me clinging to a little hope for this season. I guess time will tell.

On another note, what's the inside story on the Packers releasing their all pro guard? Seems to be a odd move given they don't have a viable replacement. I'm sure the Vikings will be contacting him soon ha ha

I dont love Mike as much as i used to, but 7 straight playoff berths have given me some respect for him. There is nothing worse than missing the playoffs in the NFL.

I used to LOVE Dom Capers, then when we lost Collins and Woodson regressed, i hated him. But last year we made good strides in the right direction and i think our defense will finish right around #10 this year.

As far as Ted Thompson and letting Sitton go, i can only speculate that his back is in bad shape and we wanted to save that 6.5 million to resign one of our 400 free agents this year.

Yes there are a few players that Ted would like to extend during the season he always does. It is hard to argue with the Sitton release Mike has input with the final roster none of the releases are base on simply $. The Packers have excelled at next man up the past 3 seasons so I fully expect things to be fine on the O line.

I still do not get the purple making a move before final cuts, Sanches is the same QB only better than Bradford record wise, you can not just give away first round picks for a player like Sam who is apt to throw some int's between injuries.

Just because you make the playoffs doesn't mean you are a good coach. You can thank Rodgers WAY MORE for that than the coach. There have been plenty of ****ty coaches that went to the playoffs a lot because they were lucky enough to have super stars.

Tom, I don't think a crappy football coach makes it to the playoffs 7 straight years and wins a Super Bowl, don't care who the QB is.
