Thoughts and predictions for the game? Personally, I'm hoping the Vikings dominant defense performs similarly to last week and slows down the Saints offense just enough to win. I know people are talking about how great the Saints' offense looked last week but then again, the defense they were shredding wasn't exactly exceptional. Peterson goes over 100 on the ground, Favre throws for 3 (1 to each Rice, Harvin and Peterson) and the Vikes win 38-24.
I really, really, really, really, really, really, really hope the Saints destroy the Vikings Sunday. Like really. Totally seriously.
I'm a Vikes fan but I'm used to them not winning the big games so It wouldn't surprise me none If they loose. I'll be pulling for them though no doubt!! If the Vikes D line plays the same as they did against Dallas they win. If they can't get any pressure they'll get blown out. If the D line holds up Vikes win 31 to 20. If the D line can't do It Saints win In a blow out 38 to 14.
I think a Maning and a Favre Superbowl would be EPIC. I think it would be one that everyone would talk about for years to come. If the Viks play like they did last week they go it. If not, they're screwed. Viks 31 Saints 28
my exact sentiments... saints likely win in a tough hard fought and close game, indy beats either one of them...
I have been saying Colts and Saints all season so we will see. Any way it goes, another Super Bowl Trophy is coming back to Indy.
I don't see the Indy winning against either NFC team. But obviously anything can happen, the Jets found a way in.
I will be rooting for Minnesota and Indianapolis ..but my prediction is a New Orleans vs Indiannapols superbowl
I want the Vikes to win so Brett will finally retire! Seriously it's tough to gauge anything with the Saints based on last week. The Cards gave up 90 points in 2 games. Yes they have an explosive offense, but I still go back to the way they finished the season (especially the loss to Tampa Bay with a lot to play for). The Saints are vulnerable to the run. I think Chester Taylor hits some BIG runs. AP does his thing and playaction passing opens up in the second half. If the Vikes defense plays like last week they have more than enough offense to keep up with the Saints and get a win on the road. I'll take the Vikes by 10.
