I dont get how people think its favres fault MN lost the game, look at AP 3 fumbles in the game. ANd that stupid penalty with too many ppl in the huddle? They cannot be making those mistakes, I mean come on that is what lost us the game NOT favres interception.

The defense played amazing, if they didnt play the way they did, MN would have been blown out of the water.

vikes put yards on the saints defense almost at will... the mental mistakes with the fumbles absolutely CRUSHED them... the way the saints played, the colts are gonna eat them up... Colts 35 Saints 17

Favre could of ran the ball about 10 yards, went out of bounds and then MN could of kicked a field goal and won the game! Instead Favre went back and did what we all have seen him do before, a gunslinger interception that sent the game into OT where the Vikings lost, so I would say that Favres interception LOST the Vikings the game! I love it!:D

Wow I can't believe the hatred for a legend Hall of Fame QB. He is without a doubt one of the best that ever played the position. Get over it. I will gladly take Favre back next year for the Vikes.

One more thing \, the media is already starting the is he done thing. This is not the issue in MN. HAte the media for this not Favre, he said he will think about it understandably and the Vik game.ings do not expect a answer. In fact hopefully they let ol Brett go home catch some catfish and proceed like he will not join the team. Have him call up 1st game of the preseason and let us know he's on his way.
But again the is he done or not hate the media don't use it to hate on the funnest QB to EVER play the game!

Favre hasnt ran the ball since the 90's,

And Longwell has never been a long range guy. They needed a decent chunk of yards to really be comfortable and Favre went for it. He didn't chuck up a prayer to Corey Webster or Brian Dawkins, he went across his body and to the center of the field on a gamble.

He will/has got ALOT of blame for the game, but his teammates made it so that play had to be tried. 6 fumbles, 1 credited to Favre that we all know is on Purple Jesus, pathetic. Favre made some terrific throws and it was one of the toughest performances of his career.

Agreed. Like i said, Favre will take the heat, but its a throw he had to make. The team had been falling apart aroudn him all night.

All I know is I enjoyed watching that game. It was very entertaining. I'm glad my friends to the east won it, and I didn't mind seeing Farve on his back 10+ times:D

Not really Steve, I just hate the Vikings thats all!!!!!!!!! :D

..... besides we have a great QB that took a hell of a beating every game the first half of the season and still broke a lot of records just 2 seasons in.... I can't wait to see what he does next year!

i have to side with bowhuntingfool, being a packer fan does not equal that we just want favre back. i was not happy how all things went down, but after he was gone...... um bye. we have a great qb and if we can keep him healthy he should have a really good career. my desire for the vikings to lose came from my dislike of the vikings, not favre. guy was great for us and was great for the vikings. favre being there is why they made it that far, period. that being said i'm glad they lost, whether they cost themselves the game or the better team won, doesn't matter they lost.

Without a doubt, Arod is the future of the NFL. I never though someone would come along who could put up like Manning has year after year, but i think Arod could be that guy. No disrespect to River/Brees.

Truth Is what I'm after. I saw a allot of Packer fans really start hating the Vikes AFTER Favre signed with them.
