Wish there was some white stuff to go with it, but if you've been waiting for the cold it's coming starting mid-week and into the weekend. Highs in the 30's and lows in the 20's for a large area, just need the winds to cooperate a bit and you can't get much better for the rut.
I'm hoping to be. One of our properties is getting close to rutting so I hope to get out. Just need work to cooperate.
The wind is killing us here and with this system moving in... it is just going to get worse. I can take the cold but this sucks. Gusts up to 50 mph today and it is blowing hard already. I told Britney to go back to bed and we scrapped this mornings hunt. I am just not seeing hardly any deer movement during day light hours the last couple days. Sitting out in this **** would just be miserable for her. Tim
