I started to think about a silly little hunting tradition I started with my kids a few years ago. They pick out my hunting clothes for my first hunt of the year. I am glad it generally is an afternoon hunt so noone can see me when I exit the woods. I usually look absolutely terrible as I am a combination of 4-5 different styles of camo. :)

After thinking about that tradition I decided to get the kids out and have them shoot from elevation with me today. They had a blast with their little $40 bows. They also invented a little arrow hauler from their supplies....hahahahahaha!

Lets see some Next Generation Hunter pic of your kids/teens!

Sean, my son needs all the male company he can get. He is constantly surrounded by the ladies around here. Lets get out on the archery spot on Q and shoot some arrows from the tower and such. My son Jack would love to meet your son.

Vito, as usual your daughter is a real cutie, and a cutie that can handle herself on the woods and water! You are going to be a busy man when she starts highschool...hahahaha.

Button--please do not say that, my wife would kill ME! LOL.

    Ben--LOL.

This was my son two years ago with a suction cup bow..hahaha.

BUTTON--just so you do not think she looks exactly like me, here is a pic. My wife might sense this thread and slap my face when she gets home if she thinks my daughter inherited ANY of my DNA. lol

    Great picks guys!

    I'll play too.

This is my son last year with his old bow and old form.

Now with his new bow and improved form.

He like to go shed hunting with me.

A couple years ago he wanted to sit with me on opening day so we headed off to the blind.

Little did we know 2 hours later we would be posing for this picture. :D
    [IMG]

And maybe someday my daughter will want to join in the fun.

    Cool pics gentlemen.

130, I would not know what I would do if one of my kids took their first deer. I would be on cloud nine for months.

    Brad, that is funny!

    Jim, I love that pic.

OH--your son looks to be one skilled outdoorsman!

yeah, same with my son... the fact that I was gone for over two years before he was 7 didn't help

I am dragging my bow with me to work Friday and shooting on the way home, and I am getting out EARLY... Work has been kicking my butt lately.
