I have had chronic Lyme disease for at least 5 years, undiagnosed for four. I tried several different courses of different combinations of antibiotics which helped somewhat but also basically made me feel terrible in other ways. ive been using three natural antibiotics, pure extracts of plants, instead for the past 8 months with much better results.
I take 150 mg concentrated allicin ( from garlic), 1g berberine ( from barberry), and artemisia ( not sure how much off the top of my head) twice daily. There are no side effects, and I feel no chronic Lyme symptoms.
It's worth exploring if the antibiotics are not effective. I got most of leads from the books treating Lyme with modern Chinese medicine and Healing Lyme. In my experience, even in a Lyme endemic area, produced a lot of doubts about how well the American medical system understands Lyme and how to treat it.
Good luck! Eat healthy and take lots of supplements, eat venison! The spirochetes siphon off vitamins and minerals from your blood, one of the reasons you feel so tired and ****ty.

wish you a full recovery. seems to be a lot of false negatives with lyme disease and the other tick borne diseases. was lucky as mine was a false negative but they put me on two weeks of doxy waiting for the test results and by the time it came back the medicine fixed me up. my sister was not as fortunate as she suffered for years and was really heading downhill until they figured out it was one of the rare tick borne diseases and treated her for it. and she is a nurse surrounded by doctors and it took that long. My suggestion would be if you are not feeling right and have been in areas with ticks to be very persistent in seeking care.
