Three weeks ago we decided to adopt a doggie from the SPCA. Well, first we had to foster her but then after the end of the second week...we were able to adopt her. She is about 3 months old and is a springer spaniel mix. Kinda looks like she has some lab in her too. Yesterday she had us scared. She had an allergic reaction to her antibiotics (spay meds) and her face swelled along with a few other body parts. :D She's doing a lot better today after small dosages of benedryl. I want to train her to find deer sheds and possibly track wounded deer. I know I'm pushing it on the wounded deer thing but I think I could have her finding sheds come March or so. She's also going to be my kayak/fishing buddy. :p
cute puppy,my wife would go crazy over her.there is nothen better to watch then a puppy playing around.
Thanks guys! I really didn't want another dog so soon after I lost my golden, Sandy. BUT the wife started talking babies so I figured a pup would delay such talks for at least a few years. I hope.
Looks like some Chocolate Lab for sure. Cute little pup, thanks for looking to the SPCA and adopting her. Over the last few years I have become passionate about dog rescue organizations and we help out with a local shelter here in Barrington, Ill. My wife is also a Trustee for an animal rescue foundation. I hope she brings you years of happiness and lots of shed antlers Congrats on the new addition!
GOOD MOVE !!!!!! A new Best Friend. She's a cutie thats for sure. You'll have to give her a try on some birds.
