I saw a post on here about a yearly bowhunting contest. It sounds fun and I am just curious how it works. It looks like there are teams put together but I am just wondering how it is scored. This is my first post on this forum. I live in Utah but love hunting all over. I have taken whitetails in Kansas with my bow the last 3 years and love it. I also have taken at least one mule deer with a bow each year for the past 7 years. My streak for antelope with a bow is 4 years in a row. Turkeys 2. Elk 1 (330" bull in Utah in 2009). I also just took a nice coues deer in Jan 2010. It is all so much fun and I guess you could say i am addicted. I would love to join a team next year and know the rules of the contest.
Welcome to the best bow hunting site on the internet. Here is a link to the deer hunting contest from last year. It has the rules and scoring info. Sign ups usually start late summer, so keep an eye out for it. http://forums.bowhunting.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36
