Just came aboard here and excited about talking bowhunting! Love to bowhunt. Started in the fall of 1986. Shot my first deer, a doe opening day of the 1987 season. Been hooked ever since! Since then I've had monster bucks within bow range, but murphy's law was with me and they kept walking. Almost had a 190 class buck run me over in a speacial park hunt as I was going to climb up a tree when this buck comes to where i'm at huffing and puffing like a mad bull looking at me like I was another buck and wanted to run me off. Well it jumped at me but couldn't get thru the brush then backed off and grunted, then walked away without letting me get a shot between the brush. That is just one story of many encounters with big bucks and i'll tell later in another post! Good Luck this coming season! Finlander
