I have benn bow hunting for about 10 years, but gun hunting sincce I was about 16. (I am 42 now) I work for a company called Featherlite Graphis that paints and decals all of the Nascar Haulers. Some of my hobbies other then bow hunting, are dirt track racing, (I actually raced from about 1996 to 2006, with a year off in there) my wife and I both have motorcycles that we ride together. And starting last year, we have a permenent site at a campground about 10 miles from home. Thats about it in a nutshell.
I was invited a long time ago but haven't spent much time on here... Name is Curtis Mullins, everyone calls me Bud, I am 36 years old and work in the oilfield in Mexico (which gives me 6-months a year vacation).... I live in Texas and have hunted Texas all my life..... This year will be my first year to venture out of Texas to the mid-west and hunt in Illinois, to say I am excited is an understatement... I am sure that as the time nears I will be picking all you guy's brains as to strategies for hunting up there...
Hi my name is Luke and I live and hunt in Wisconsin. This is my first post looking forward to a bunch more.
I'm a newb here. I was a member of HNI since '05. I love to bowhunt, I seem to be more engrossed with target archery over the past year. I'm 17 years old, I'll be 18 in May. I'm going to college next year. Haven't made a concrete decision yet. It will either be East Tennessee State University or UTC (UT Chattanooga). I'm from Northeast Tennessee, near Bristol. I'm looking forward to posting. Matt Millard
Sorry haven't done this before this. My name is Greg and I live in southeastern Wisconsin in Walworth County. I hunt here in Walworth County and also in northern Wisconsin in Sawyer County, where my father and I have a cabin. We have a family deer camp up there during gun season that has been around since 1934. I love bowhunting up there as well though. Along with bowhunting, I enjoy shooting archery, both 3-d and spots. I am a life member of the Wisconsin Bowhunters Association, and am on the state board of directors as well; representing SE Wisconsin along with a couple of other guys also. I am also a Life Member of BigFoot Archers, which is based out of Lake Geneva, Wi. It's a great club with great members. If you're ever looking for a shoot around that area check it out.
I should add that I am 28 and married with 2 stepsons a daughter. The boys are 12 and 5 and my daughter is 2. I have been hunting since I was 12 and love it. I bow hunt and gun hunt for deer along with turkey hunting.
I was recomended here by some members of another forum.. Looking forward to talking to/learning from those of you I dont know yet. Love the site, wish I would have found it sooner.
I don't know if I have ever done this, but... My name is Anthony, I currently live in the twin cities. I originally started hunting when I was a youngin', but I don't remember how old I was. I am 24 now. I am married, no kids, just a very "special" dog. I have been shooting archery since I was really young though. My whole family used to, I got into it more when my dad and uncle started taking me to 3d leagues at the local indoor place. In the 4 years I did the leagues, our team got 3rd, 1st, 4th, and 2nd. lol. I am currently looking at changing the scenery though. Either I will be going into the US Army (don't ask), or just picking up, and the wife and I will be moving to North Carolina, Raleigh area.
