Hi my name is Johnie I'm from Kiln,MS and I started bow hunting when i was 12 up until 9 years ago i got frustrated when i missed the biggest buck of my life and sold my bow, but now im a father of 3 lil boys that love to hunt and they have been wanting to learn to bow hunt so i went and bought a used Mathews ultra max and they are each getting there own bear youth model bows for christmas, and so it begins again, but i am 9 years older now and not as hot headed as i use to be and i have three little partners for back up. i started a tread on here looking for advice on different products and other things and have gottin some pretty good insight so far.

The Mak situation just got a little harder with some new DNR guys.... not sure how helpfull they will end up being. It did take me a LONG time to get my deer out of the bottoms I was hunting in.

Have I seen you out there? I was there for opening day on the first gun season.

I got my shotgun deer in the morning. It ran about 50 yards and then dropped dead and rolled down into the bottom of one of those killer ravines. I called for help. :)

Hey there guys, I'm Paul from northern Minnesota. I've been bow hunting for a few years now, but really started getting into it this past year. Once I got a new bow this last spring, hunting and shooting the bow is all I think about. I've got alot of good pointers from this site and hunting.net. That is a sweet avatar TopPin. It's the first one i've seen that moves. Pretty cool.

Yeah I love my bow, but I definetly second guessed myself after getting on different bow hunting sights and seeing that nobody else seems to shoot them. But I'll stick with my browning. Shoots fast and is very quiet and forgiving. I guess Browning is just more known for their rifles, but their bows are a quality product as well.

I'm Anthony just moved to North Texas from Central Oklahoma. I think anyone can kill with a gun but a true hunter uses a bow.

I have been here for a little while now but have not introduced myself I dont think. The main reason for not posting much is I have been having problems with the site and the reply window itself. I would type out a whole reply and the words would be all jacked up. Anyhow I have it all sorted out now so here goes.

My name is Rob, I am 22 years old, happily married for a little over a year and a half now and flat out love archery. I first picked up a bow at 11 years old and was forced to stop at 14. However last year a friend of mine gave me a 20 year old Hoyt Gamegetter II and as bad as it was, it still got me hooked again.

Currently I am the proud owner of a Hoyt AM32 in camo with all the trimmings. I live in Narragansett RI but I am originally from Florida. As you might imagaine the hunting here is difficult due to the state being so small but I make due. Anyhow I visit the site more than once a day and love it so thanks to all the members for making a great site.

My name is Jake and Im a newb transfer from another site. I live in southeast Iowa and when deer seasons closed Im usually reeling in big bass or flathead. My dad began taking me with him when he went hunting when I was only 2 years old and started small game hunting at age 5. I got my first deer tag and filled it at age 9 and been addicted ever since. I spend more and more time in the woods each year scouting for bow season when before Id just hang a stand a couple days before and call it good. When Im not welding, hunting, or fishing Im spending time with my 5 year old daughter and my pretty much wife. <-(been with her since we were 17, we are now 25) I see alot of other friends from the other site her, some newbs some are regulars here and anticipate making some new friends along the way. That pretty much sums it up.
