Hey everyone!!! I'm new to this site and somewhat new to bowhunting. I am looking for suggestions on a good bowhunting ladder stand, something with a larger platform so it's easier to stand while hunting. Thanks to everyone in advance!!

Theres a ton of different ways to go. do you need a portable stand or something fixed? A 2 man lean up ladder stand would give you the most room but you wouldn't be very mobile. A stand like the Boss XL and a set of climbing sticks is roomy and although heavy it can be moved easily. Give us an idea of how you intend to hunt and we'll see what kind of ideas we can come up with.
    Oh and BTW, WELCOME!

What is your price range? I will throw a couple out there for you to think about.

    1. http://www.huntingsolutionsusa.com/products/product.php?id=4 - Not the biggest of platforms, but oh so comfy on those all day hunts. Very easy to get in the tree as well. This is my favorite ladder stand.

    2. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=402510&pdesc=Gander_Mountain_Magnum_XL_17_Ladder_Treestand&cname=Ladder-Stands&aID=503H4&merchID=4006&r=view - Nice stand with a huge platform. The seat is not as comfortable as the one above, but it is still a nice all-day stand. It is a little on the heavy side, but not a problem once you get it up as I don't think you will be hauling in and out everytime you hunt.

    3. http://www.ameristep.com/treestands/9412_bruin.html - Another good choice. Platform is not nearly as big, but still plenty of room.

    4. http://www.ameristep.com/treestands/9408_skyscraper.html - This might be the best all around bow hunting ladder stand. I do not like the narrow ladder, but I do enjoy hunting out of this stand once I am in it.
