Hello All, Like to say hello to you all. I've been lurking here, and finally joined. I've been shooting my Hoyt since I returned from Iraq, in 2005. My accuracy is outstanding, but I have never actually bowhunted... and so I know that accuracy means nothing, until I have experienced the adrenaline of an actual hunt. (I know all about adrenaline, having served in Tikrit for a year!) I would be especially grateful if anyone from NH, VT, ME, or NY states could introduce themselves... so that I know who is experienced in the Northeastern US. I am interested in turkey and whitetail hunting, as well as predators, and will be reading and asking many questions. Looks like there are many experienced (to say the least) bowhunters on this forum, so I came to the right place! Thanks
thank you for your time over there and services welcome aboard , hope you like the site and there are many guys on here more than willing to help out.
Hello Vet, I am in Vermont too, just joined up to answer your post. thanks for serving and we are all glad you are back safe, I am in SW Vermont, near bennington, and hunt mainly that quarter, though I do travel alot around Vermont to run the hounds and waterfowl hunt .
Thanks for your reply. I am in SE Vermont, in Brattleboro. I also appreciate your response to my post concerning which broadheads to use for turkey... I'll keep my eyes posted for you on this forum, and perhaps one day we should link up for some arrow slinging! There is a great shooting range here in Guilford, Vt, called Sportsman's Inc that I am a member of. We have rifle/pistol range, a trap/skeet range, and a 3D archery course. Take good care, good luck in October!
Welcome aboard. Thank you for your service to this, the greatest country in the world. Read what people have to say, learn and get out there for the experience, you'll love it! God Bless.
