Hey all! I am new to archery. I have always wanted to try it, but I travel a lot, and have lived in places it wasn't affordable to. I just put my bow on layaway, with a shop local to me. I bought a Matthews Heli-M. I think I got a pretty good deal on it $699. I see lots of folks using the QAD Ultra rest, which is the rest my pro shop recommended. Sight I am still up in the air on, and do I need a stabilizer? Thanks, Gary
Welcome to the forum.... Stabilizer is optional, depends on you, IMHO. I shot with and without. Good luck and enjoy the addiction.
Welcome, a stabilizer is really a personal preference. I'd try shooting with one at your shop an see if it helps you!
Welcome to the sport and to the area, fellow Dayton guy here. Assuming you went with the guys at Old English to set you up? If so they are a great company and can help set you up right, they'll let you try out what you want to see what works for you. if you have any questions about the area let me know. Been hunting it for 15 years. Welcome aboard.
