H'llo all. I am completely new to this site ( and pretty new to archery) , so please bear with me as I get the hand of things. I recently received $270 as a gift. I want to use it on a set-up compound bow. I did some research, and I am thinking about getting this bow, Bear Archery New Apprentice 2 2013 Right Hand Package 20 60lb Free Arrows 754806126845 | eBay , the Bear Apprentice two. I am 18 years old, 5' 9" and can handle a 55# long bow easily. I was wondering what the best set up bow for my money is? It needs to be in this price range and fully set up. Thank you all!
Hey I am also new to the site. I have a Bear Apprentice 2. If I was you I would look into the Mission Craze or Riot, you can get a package with them. I know they are a little over your price range but, the are great bows. Craze® | Mission Archery
Mission seems to be the best place to get started on a budget. Take your time here and do a bunch of research. You should be in no rush and you always can keep your money and build on it until you find what really calls to you. I would say visit a pro shop and avoid getting sucked into second hand arrows online. Shoot new or good quality arrows always. Find out the safety issues of bowhunting first to keep you from making mistakes. Good luck brother, take your time.
mission has nice bows. if you are looking for a ready to hunt package be sure to look at bear, pse, and diamond. these companys offer great beginner bow packages. i will also recommend that you handle and shoot any bow you plan on buying. even being new you will know what is uncomfortable and what "feels right"
i almost forgot check out this link its a great sight to learn a few things as well as buy a bow package: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...=WAlzGMv-P9un857-kj8nyw&bvm=bv.58187178,d.cGU
