hey anyone, considering bow hunting but also have a Colt "Heritage" 62 inch recurve bow from days gone by with small stress fractures in laminates around handgrip. I want to restore to this and have found a Colt 62 inch dacron string still in orig package from Colt. need some assistance in finding what I need to complete restoration. ??????????

Hunting with a recurve is much harder than with a compound, good luck. I would get it looked at by a professional at a local shop. Any crack could be dangerous. and welcome to the site, I'm new to the site and bow hunting also.
