Disgusting. How that deranged man got out of jail after commiting first degree murder of a family member with a hammer is beyond belief. He should have gotten the death penalty, and none of this would have happened. 3 killed, 3 injured and 7 homes destroyed. The killer stopped his massacre when an off duty policeman drew his personal weapon and returned fire. Bushmaster is getting BLASTED because thats supposedly what he was using. I also heard today that the elementry school shooter DID NOT have an AR. I dont know what is true anymore. The media us abusing its power to create gun control panic IMO. Absolutely disgusting is right. Not sure what else to say. And yes, I've read a lot of mixed reports on what guns were used in Newtown. I really try to not be a conspiracy theorist but I'm not quite sure what to think about it these mixed reports. The reporting in general around the whole incident leaves a lot of open questions that will likely never be answered.
as a firefighter and emt this is what makes my friends and family worry about me even more, hell it makes me worry a bit! i am trained to go into a burning building im not trained at being shot at! and i agree simon how did this motherf*cker get out of jail!?
How often do you get on scene of a structure fire (house, barn, garage, shed) and have things popping and exploding? What about an EMS call to an unknown house? This is scary for sure im going into firefighting and i know this isnt something that always happens its now in the back of our minds that it could happen. People are just insane and we never can know what people are going to do. My fire instructor said to remember one thing and thats "to always expect the unexpected" and i guess it hold true but im thinking he would never thought of this being an issue being a firefighter.
i feel like now my size up has to cover more than what it should have to because of the crazys they let back on the streets or have a mintal illness and they let them play with weapons. if i didnt love what i do id quit
oh and is it wierd that the episode of chicago fire had a house fire and all the firefighters got shot at cause it was a gang house set on fire and within a week this happens?
On the news last night a reporter said this scumbag killed his sister and then set up an ambush for the first responders because his mother donated to the Fire Department. No mention that he was let out of jail after serving 17 years for killing grandma with a hammer, but I did hear he used a Bushmaster, the same gun used to kill 20 kids in CT! The Media is going to create an all out civil war in this country if they continue the assault on the truth and our freedom.
The media keeps calling these guns assault rifles but they're not. Go ahead and ban assault rifles because they already are banned to the public. This guy could've did this with a pump or bolt action rifle. The media should explain how this guy got out of jail after killing his grandmother with a hammer, instead they call out bushmaster. What happened to our Justice system? Did he just plead insanity?

i dont think so the shooters on the tv show was inside the house and they had there gang house set on fire by another gang. but it was just odd.
