Just wanted to let everyone know we just launched DeerLab.com, a new web-based application for managing and analyzing trail camera photos. A sample of features include: Automated Reports for Each Trail Camera DeerLab aggregates all the data from each camera and tells you averages for times deer are active. This includes when deer are appearing at various moon phases and times as well as averages for wind direction and barometric pressure. All of these reports are automated and does not require your trail camera to capture this information. Additional Layers of Weather Data For each photo the following is added: wind direction, wind speed, barometric pressure, sunrise and sunset times, humidity, visibility, temperature, and moon phase (even if your camera doesn't have these features). The additional data is pulled from over 20,000 weather stations. Smart Filtering of Photos All photos can be easily filtered by camera, weather, date, your tags, moon phases, wind direction, etc. This is a great way to see what's really happening at certain times and conditions. The Ability to Tag Hit List Bucks Every photo can be tagged so you can easily view hit list bucks or group photos however you want (turkey, elk, bear, bucks, etc.) Mobile-Friendly Access DeerLab's photos and reports can be accessed from your phone, tablet or computer. All you need is a modern browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer versions 9 and above. Weather Forecasts Every trail camera has an eight day forecast so you can see the best times to get in your stand. DeerLab's weather data is hyperlocal (minute to minute) and is available in the U.S., United Kingdom, Ireland and parts of Canada. We also can provide weather around the world but not minute to minute due to the lack of weather stations. Multiple Properties If you have multiple properties you can easily set them up using DeerLab's satellite views. As a disclaimer I helped build DeerLab and this is only the beginning as we have a lot more in store. For more detail please go to DeerLab.com and try it out for free. We also have some video tutorials posted to walk you through the various features. Hope you like it!
I would rather pay once and done than have to pay monthly, good idea but not for that much money.i have almost 10 trail cams and at 48 dollars a month for one year thats 576 dollars, thats like 3 more trail cams i could buy!!!!! im sticking with my reconyx program for FREE!
Thanks for your comment Austin97. We actually have discussed an annual plan and it's on the list of items we will be rolling out. The challenge we face for the 10 camera plan is our cost for storing the 20 thousand photos. If we lowered the number of photos in the plan it would lower our costs but I could also see an issue of subscribers complaining they aren't getting enough storage space. That being said I hear you and we will definitely keep your comments in mind. One alternative option if desired is to use a smaller plan or try our free trial to see if it's a good solution for you. The ability to filter photos by certain weather conditions, access them from anywhere, and view additional weather data your cameras can't provide are pretty powerful tools to help your hunt.
I love the idea!!! It would take trail cameras to a whole new level but there's just noway Id be paying that much to run my 6 cameras. The Doe package is the very least amount of cameras you could use to pattern a buck or deer activity. Also, maybe extend the trial. Some guys like to leave their camera out longer or thats the only option they have due to living so far away.
Updated DeerLab.com Pricing Austin - Just wanted to let you know after hearing your comments as well as some others we bumped up the number of cameras for each plan. Now you can have up to 10 cameras for $9 per month. Hope that helps! Here's all the updated prices for DeerLab.
