Located in Wisconsin growing up hunting was not just a tradition but more so a culture and a way of life. With in the last 5-6 years I have truly become of fan of videoing hunts as a way to look back at past seasons as well as love sharing with people with the same interests. Glad to be part of the forum and looking forward to getting to know a few guys/gals on here and make some friends in/out of state to continue to spread my bow hunting passion. From what I have briefly looked at on the site it appears that there is a vast amount of information here and a bunch of people that have the same interest. Hit me up and let me know where you guys/gals are from. Tyler Adsit Crimson Fletch Outdoors ------------------------------------ Youtube Channel if you like watching videos... Hi Tyler. Matt **** here. Just signed dad up too and he saw your post first. Trying to find him some reading material. Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Nice. It'd be good for him. So do you actually hunt in Minnesota or strictly come back to Wisconsin for that...?
Started in MN this year after I got the itch mid season and did more research. More public around me than I realized. Otherwise, I hadn't been doing more than weekend or 2 a year at our cabin, or a day here and there and Nate' s or my uncle's. Plan going forward will most likely be to bow hunt MN while gun hunting WI. How has your season been? Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
It's been a awesome season. Haven't connected on a buck that i'd like to shoot but have probably pass almost 2 dozen bucks this year total so a lot of action in the woods. Have three weeks left here before season ending and I will be out next week and probably the last week of the year in early January. I've always wanted to hunt Minnesota so once you figure it out let me know and I'll have to head that way.
Sounds good, I have lots to learn. Been mostly a gun hunter on public land and that can be more about understanding where deer go when pressured rather than figuring out patterns. Also, big woods with no farm fields and other people baiting is different than the ridges here surrounded by farmland and no baiting allowed.
