Gents, I need your wisdom yet again. I recently purchased a "New" TruGlo Carbon XS 4pin sight off of E-bay for an extremely good deal. The seller has an extremely good rating with many reviews, as they are a outfitting company. The had great customer service and quick shipment. However, I get the sight yesterday and when I went to sight it in today, I noticed a problem. After three arrows, I went to adjust (chase the arrows) and noticed that the vertical screw is stripped. I can't tighten or loosen it; it just spins and spins. Other than that, the sight is fantastic. I was able to sight it in at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards without a problem. My concern, then, is how to make sure the sight doesn't move up or down since I can't tighten the vertical screw? I had the guys look at it at the pro shop I frequent and they were at a loss. Any suggestions?

I read some reviews on that sight with the exact same problem of threads stripping...I brought it back and got a different model before I had issues...I would say go and get another sight...if you can't, maybe some locktight might/superglue help?...provided you don't have to make anymore adjustments but, if it was me I'd just get a new one.

I had the same thing happen on 2 different carbon xs sites. Call truglo, they will send u a replacement screw. I had to drill mine out w/ a very small drill bit.

Thanks for the info. I talked to the seller and they were very apologetic. They are also giving me a partial refund and I contacted TruGlo per rt9bil's suggestion to request another screw. Thanks again and happy hunting!
