I'm looking into a new trail camera, wanting to stay in the $200 range, but I want something that works well. Any ideas?

Bushnell Trophy Cam might be one to look at.

That's actually what I was thinking, either that or the i-40 from Moultrie. Leaning towards Bushnell though since I know someone who works for them. Maybe get a discount!

    ^But I wasn't sure, some shaky reviews.

Build your own? From what I have been reading, it is very easy, and can easily be done for $200, not to mention that you will have a camera that will out perform most others (especially all in that price range). Check out www.yeticam.com and www.snapshotsniper.com They have complete kits where you only need to purchase the camera and you can set it up.

I would spend the little extra and get a cuddeback capture, i think they rub like 230 or someting like that.
I do not have one, but i have heard nothing but awesome stuff about them! Im sure if you ask siman08/OH, or GAbowhunter. they will tell you some more great stuff about them!

but definatly stay away from stealthcams, they have really gone down hill. and you will be throwing your money away.

I've had 6 Moultries and wouldn't take another one if you bought it for me.

If your going FLASH, i would buy a Cuddeback Capture for $199...best flash camera under $200 on the market by far,

IR, i like what i see from the Moultrie I40, but i dont have one
