    Nice! We have one in our department here at school (actually, we got two with the grant). It's going to be great for the kids doing 3d modeling.

    Awesome! I noticed the stepper motors. Is it Direct Thermal or Thermal Transfer printing?

    You can make basically anything that you can produce a model for. This little printer of course has some limitations as far as size goes, it really is just a hobby printer, but man are they cool.

    Tom I can print a 6"x6"x6" area so ya that out to be more than enough room to print Ferg a buck! :tu:

    Dwayne this works in a direct method, essentially the filament (Plastic thread) runs through a head and is heated, that head then applys the heated filament according to the model that is programed and wallah. The result is a 3 dimensional plastic replica of your model. If only had the cash to buy one that works in metal.... lol
