I recently moved to Wyoming from NJ (Military change of station). Having only hunted the east, tree stands and 25 yard shots or less. I am sure its a totally different animal out here in the west. Basically I am asking for advice. Places to get info, where to hunt, hunting tactics ect ect. I am looking forward to the challenge.

    Thanks Silvio

    Welcome
Im not from Wyoming, I'm a state south of ya. I practice out to 60 yards but don't take any shoots for deer over 50 yards. I wont shoot an elk over 40 yards. Thats me. I know people who are a lot better shots then me that take longer shots. Call the Fish and Game I would think they could at least point you in the right direction. Wat ever the case good luck

Welcome to paradise. Are you Air Force? I'm in Cheyenne, and would love to go to the range with you. We also have a pretty active Legacy Outfitters chapter here in town. The meeting it tonight, so if you get this by then, hit me up - check your PM folder for those details.

    You'll love it here.
