My name is Bryan and I've hunted all my life. I'm from the eastern part of ky so yeah I'm a hillbilly and proud of it. I have bow hunted for about 10-12 years but took a time out when I had surgery on my neck. When I got well and wanted to start bow hunting again I went to drag out my old bow and really felt bad about what I was pulling out of the case. I had a High Country Sniper that was seveirly outdated. Since I wanted to get back into archery hunting I decided to start out with a new updated set-up. So I ended up getting a new Mathews Z7 extreme. I put some mid level tru glo sights on it with a G5 peep and Kisser button. Along with a Quality Archery Desings drop away rest, which is by far better than my whisker biscuit. For arrows I didn't get the ones I wanted which were the Carbon express Maxima hunters but I will before the end of the season, I got the easton excel 400 with muzzy broadheads. However, when I get the maxima's I will be using the 2 blade rages. My release is a tru ball hurricane which I like pretty well.

Learning all the new tune methods and newer arrows now is confusing but I'm learning which is why I'm here.Nice to meet you guys.

    Welcome!

Sounds like you have really nice set-up. Personally, I'd stick with the muzzys if I were you. They'll kill deer dead every bit as good as the rage heads and will cost less in the process. ;)
