Idk but I killed 2 deer last year and my boots smelled like the socks off of someone who just ran a marathon in 110 degree heat. I ad many walk right under me, I did not have one deer run away or get spooked whatsoever all last year. (The boots smelled bad because they were leather.. And they got left out in the rain for like 3 days.. Not good.)

Just wear them to get rid of the new smell. That being said you will never be scent free. Almost everyone falls in the trap when they first start hunting that they need to be scent free and that it can actually be accomplished. You can't beat a deers nose. Whether they smell you a lot or a little they will smell you. They can always smell where you have walked regardless of what you do to your boots. Good Luck!

just get cup of baking soda and mix it with water then rub the mixture on to you boot and let then sit outside for a day. or mix it in bucket and place your boot in there and let them soak over night. Baking soda is the cure to many odars.

baking soda is cheap and does a fantastic job of removing odors. I pour it in my tub that I keep my camo in during the season and just shake out my clothes as I put them on. Sams club costco sell 13 pound bags for around 7 bucks

Douse them with scentkiller and leave them dry outside in the sun
