As mentioned in a previous post a bow that fits you is of utmost importance. Generally, and this is common place, you want to go to a local bow shop and shoot as many bows as possible to see what feels and shoots good to you. The grip and draw stroke are important,. Then you'll have an idea on what you want in your price range. For $600.00 you can buy a very good bow. But keep in mind it's not just the bare bow, once you buy the assessories your looking at at least another 200.00. A brand new 2010 PSEBow Madness XS can be had for $499.00 or the Bear Assault at the website below. These guys are great and often times they run specials, and don't bill tax. They also have complete bow packages ready to hunt to your door. They should be running end of year clearance at any time in which you can get a top end bow for $600.00. Two years back, I bought a new 2008 PSE Dream Season at closeout for $599.00 and saved over 250.00 bucks.
